Hello there!

Thank you for your interest in the Mount Vernon Student of the Year Award!

In this application, you'll need to share the student-led project you are nominating and answer a few questions about why you are submitting it for consideration. If you are nominating your own project, we will require the name and email of a trusted reference so that we may request a letter of recommendation.

*Don't worry, you can log in and out of Submittable's applicant portal and return to your application at any time!

ALL application materials (including, if required, a letter of recommendation) must be formally submitted via Submittable by Monday, June 1, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET. We will not be able to accept any application materials via email.

We will notify ALL applicants via an email from Submittable by September 15, 2026. It's a long process, so please be patient with us as we personally review each nomination.

We look forward to diving into the amazing project you've submitted!

All the best,

The K-12 Team at George Washington's Mount Vernon
